Almasa Holdings was formed with the single aim of developing one of the leading IT companies in the Middle East. Although IT still remains at the core of the business, Almasa has diversified into new business ventures. Real Estate interest has been developed into a dedicated property subsidiary with a strong focus on the UAE market and keeping technology at the forefront.

The company grew out of Almasa Holdings, a group of IT hard-ware and software related companies, founded in 1995 lead by the Dubai based entrepreneur, Young Global Leader 2008 award winner Mahdi Amjad.
